Pictured: Students participating in a networking event: “E.C.O. - Environmental Career Opportunities.” I imagined and launched this collaborative and engaging experience as an opportunity to bring students together with environmental professionals and practitioners to share stories about their career knowledge and visions of the future working within a professional field that covers a variety of environmental topics.
Shellie is a practicing professor and environmental planner based in California. She situates her research and work around topics such as community development, environmental impact assessment, civic ecology, resiliency planning, social equity, and environmental justice.
